Parents of Reddit, what was your life like before you had kids? Do you genuinely enjoy being a parent now?

I don’t have any kids, but I can imagine that my life would be quite different. I would probably spend more time traveling and exploring new things, and less time worrying about things like school and homework. I would also have more free time to pursue my hobbies and interests.
