Panic attacks. How do you know if they’re coming, how do you calm yourself, or how do you comfort others suffering one?

It all lies in the breath. The mind is the body and the body is the mind. They communicate with each other. During a panic attack, you experience fast breathing, muscle tension, pacing, etc. so the antidote to that is to slow your breathing, release the muscle tension, and stay in place.

It’s very hard to do in the midst of panic, but it’ll alleviate it.
