Uganda Cancer Institute Kitchen Attendant Jobs
Job Purpose:
To participate in the provision of Catering services to the Cancer Centre.
Qualification:
Must have a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)
Pass in English
Key competencies
The incumbent should have key competences and be Physically fit and able to stand for entire shifts, Excellent verbal communication skills and Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in kitchens.
Assist cooks and kitchen supervisors with all tasks necessary to ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly.
Assist in the food cooking and its distribution to the wards.
Washing utensils, pots, pans, and chopping boards
Sanitizing the food preparation areas
Preparing ingredients, including washing and chopping
Organizing food supplies and ingredients.
Assisting the chef and taking directions
