Marsabit County Orthopedic Trauma Technologist Jobs in Kenya
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of an experienced officer.
Duties and responsibilities will entail: –
Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations;
Fixing and removing casts, bandages and tractions to and from patients;
Correcting Congenital Talipes Equino-Varus (C.T.E.V.);
Counseling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopedic trauma;
Cleaning and treating simple wounds resulting from orthopedic trauma;
Documenting orthopedic and trauma case; and
Assessing and referring patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Diploma in Orthopedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution; and
Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

In addition to the above requirements, an officer must have the following qualities:
Ability to get on well with the diverse workforce
Good knowledge in the professional field of specialization
Good communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Good organizational and supervisory skills
