Bowmans Law Firm Paralegal – Dispute Resolution Jobs in Nairobi, Kenya: Coulson Harney LLP
Purpose:
Responsible for providing legal and operational support, the Paralegal will assist the partners and team members to enable them to deliver efficient client service.
This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and demonstrable document and project management skills.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws degree from an accredited learning institution
3+ years proven working experience as a litigation paralegal in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Process server licence is an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
Support the drafting of various legal documents.
Assist with the preparation of various correspondence and communication.
Perform legal research, analyse and draft legal documents.
Assist in general file and matter management.
Ensure quality control for all documents compiled by the team.
Work with the Knowledge Management (KM) team to identify, update, amend and maintain current drafts of various litigation precedents.
Assist in various team projects as may be assigned from time to time.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Partners from time to time.
Competencies:
Resourceful research and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
In depth knowledge of litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
