Gilani’s Distributors Territory Sales Executive Jobs in Kenya
Role Purpose:
The Territory Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales within their assigned route plans. He/she reports to the Regional Sales Manager and plays a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base within the assigned route plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales plans and strategies for the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.
Identify and prospect new customers while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing ones.
Conduct regular visits to clients, retailers, and distributors to promote products and gather market insights.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local promotional activities and initiatives.
Provide product training and support to retailers and distributors within the territory.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting relevant information to the Regional Sales Manager.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on territory performance.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Ensure proper merchandising and stock availability at retail outlets.
Work closely with the sales support team to process orders and handle logistics and delivery.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent. A Diploma in business administration, marketing, or a related field will be a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in using sales CRM software and MS Office suite.
