Job Summary

Our client is a leading shipping and logistics company that specializes in providing comprehensive transportation and logistics solutions to clients globally. We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Inside Sales Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth by effectively communicating our services to potential clients and ensuring their logistics needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Identify and research potential clients in the shipping and logistics industry.

Generate sales leads through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and market research.

Maintain a database of leads and contacts.

Client Engagement:

Engage with potential clients to understand their logistics and shipping requirements.

Provide information about our services, pricing, and solutions to potential clients.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by offering exceptional customer service.

Sales Presentations and Proposals:

Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to clients’ needs and preferences.

Prepare and submit accurate and persuasive proposals to potential clients.

Negotiate terms and contracts in collaboration with the sales team.

Sales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to assist in achieving sales targets and objectives.

Provide administrative support for sales activities, including data entry and document preparation.

Ensure timely follow-up with clients to answer questions and address concerns.

Market Research and Analysis:

Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and sales teams to improve sales strategies.

Sales Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.

Track and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in inside sales or a similar role in shipping industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

Results-driven and motivated to meet or exceed sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team.

Knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry is a must
