Uganda Cancer Institute Physiotherapist Nutritionist Jobs
Job Purpose:
To provide guidance on food values and advise patients and the Institute staff on nutrition.
Qualification:
Must have an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Food Science and Technology from a recognized institution.
Key competencies required for the post
Planning, organizing and coordinating; Information Communication Technology (ICT); Teamwork; Accountability; Communicating effectively; Concern for quality and standards; Results-oriented and Networking.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participating in planning and budgeting for nutritional programs
Monitoring and evaluating nutritional programs
Providing guidance on the purchasing of food and planning hospital meals.
Determining special diets for therapeutic / supplementary purposes.
Advising and counseling people with nutritional
problems.
Participating in community outreach services.
Participating in research activities.
Accounting for the allocated resources.
Compiling and submitting reports.
