Uganda Cancer Institute Pharmacy Technician Jobs
Job Purpose:
To dispense medicines and advise patients on their proper use.
Qualification:
Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution.
Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
Must have a valid practicing License.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning for dispensing activities in the hospital
Registering medicines given to patients.
Maintaining of standards and quality assurance.
Advising patients and attendants on proper use and storage of medicines.
Advising Clinicians and other Health Professionals on prescriptions.
Making requisitions for medicines and health supplies from stores.
Preparing quality compounded medicines and infusions.
Participating in continuous professional development.
Adhering to the Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Reporting expired and damaged medicines.
Participating in research activities;
Compiling and submitting reports.
