Uganda Cancer Institute Palliative Care Nurse Jobs
Job Purpose:
To participate in the implementation and monitoring of guidelines and standards on Palliative Care Services
Qualification:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Palliative Care or its equivalent from a recognized University.
A Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Institution
Registration with the Uganda Nures and Midwives Council and hold a valid practicing license.

The incumbent should be; Results Oriented, teambuilding and required for the post:
Leadership, Ethics and Integrity, Concern for quality Standards, good communication, Counselling and Interpersonal skills; Accountability
Duties & Responsibilities:
Spearhead the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of palliative care services for cancer patients
Mentor train and coach nursing staff and interns
Enforce ethical professional conduct in the provision of palliative care services
Manage performance of palliative care nursing staff
Conduct and utilize evidence-based research to improve palliative care practices
Account for supplies and drugs
Supervise palliative care staff placed under his/her responsibilities
Network with Palliative care stakeholders
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
