Uganda Cancer Institute Driver Jobs
Job Purpose:
To drive and mountain UCI motor vehicles; in accordance with the transport and fleet management policy
Qualification:
Ordinary Certificate of education (UCE);
A valid driving permit with Class B;
A minimum driving experience of at least 2 (two) years in a reputable organisation
Key competencies required for the post:
Basic knowledge of mechanical and vehicle maintenance; Ability to use GPS; Good Public relations and customer care; Time consciousness; Flexibility; Confidentiality and ethical behavior.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Driving UCI vehicles on official duties and assignments;
Delivering UCI personnel, logistics / materials to the required destination safely;
Following up on Motor vehicle service points;
Ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and reporting any technical or mechanical fault to the supervisor;
Maintaining proper records, and necessary toolbox related to vehicles are kept;
Ensuring the safety of vehicles;
Performing courier duties as assigned;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time in relation to the post.
