Uganda Cancer Institute Biomedical Engineer Jobs
Job Purpose:
To assist in implementation of medical equipment policies, standards and guidelines
Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and any relevant experience in health facility
Key competencies required for the post:
The incumbent should have competences in: Results orientation;
Concern for quality and standards; Public relations and customer care; Ethics and integrity; Coaching and mentoring and Managing employee performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of Biomedical Engineering policy of the Institute.
Participate in the development of standards and guidelines related to Biomedical Engineering.
Produce tactical plans for medical equipment management
Participate in providing oversight for the development of Biomedical Engineering in NGOs’ hospitals and private hospitals.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
