British High Commission in Accra Generator Technician AA Jobs
Main purpose of job:
To ensure staff and properties are kept safe.
Roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for carrying out a Plan Preventative Maintenance schedule for all the Generator sets in the Accra Post
Troubleshoot and diagnose all mechanical and electrical faults on all power supply plants and make sure they function properly
Carry out daily and weekly checks on all fuel holding tanks and pipes for leakages.
Supply diesel to the generators and keep records of supply
Update, keep records and report on state of generators at all times
Maintains relationship with the state Electricity Company
Carry out the installation of new Generator plants
Troubleshoot and repair of Generators that develop faults
Drive the team vehicle and a fuel bowser
Provide leave cover for Technical team driver
Any other related duties
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
Experience in generator maintenance, installation, or repair
Driving licence C-E
Experience in driving diesel/fuel bowser
Experience in driving a drop side truck
