Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client Job Distributors, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Sales & Marketing Officer to work in Buloba, Uganda.

Job Purpose:

The core responsibility of the Sales & Marketing Manager is to head the entire Uganda customer universe by working through teams to grow the chewing gum and chocolate business and ensure acquisition of other principles for business growth. The manager shall engage in data analysis, sales forecasts, Market researching on customer behaviour & competitions and most importantly contributes to overall Strategic sales planning and decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing overall Sales strategy.
  • Accomplishing sales and marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing and evaluating field sales action plans
  • Forecasting and developing projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products, establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Meeting sales and marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual and monthly budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses to enhance our market share.
  • Maintains and develops the outlet universe through correct market demarcations, reshuffling resource changes to best service the market needs.
  • Accomplishing sales and marketing Human Resource objectives by selecting, orienting and training assigning employees and managing the team’s performance.
  • Collecting market information and recommending action plans, implementing customer-service standards, identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
  • Growing and sustaining rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.
  • Handling the accountability process in the JOB Distributors way and ensuring that it is being executed through teams.
  • Compliance to Quality and Food Security Management systems requirements.
  • Update sales and Marketing documentation i.e., reports policies, processes and strategic plans.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree of in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or any related course.
  • MBA or any other related field is an added advantage.
  • National & International Certification is an added advantage.
  • With experience of not less than 8 years of working in FMCGs and distribution industry.
