Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client Job Distributors, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Human Resource Manager (People& Culture) to work in Buloba, Uganda.
Job Purpose:
The HR Manager position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRM maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s and organization culture.
Duties and Responsibilities
Efficiently compiling data for manpower gaps and prepares reports and maintains an up to date back up of all departmental information.
Proactively sourcing and building a competitive candidate database to improve talent acquisition timelines
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to enhance productivity.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Manager solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure with statutory provisions of all applicable local and international labor laws.
Maintaining a smooth onboarding – Exit management process.
Managing the Payroll and Incentive pay processes.
Identifies and implement training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
Effectively managing constant change across the business, through communication, advocacy, collaboration, and planning Performs other related duties.
Qualifications & Experience
BA degree in Human Resource, Social science, Psychology or any relevant business field with demonstration of at least 5 years’ experience in multiple human resource disciplines.
Master or any other qualification is an added advantage.
Experience leading projects that involve cross-functional partners
Solid understanding labor laws and experience in employment regulations within and outside Uganda.

Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
