An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Engineer at NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED NBL Snackworks Division including Isando Biscuits, NBL Rosslyn Snacks, and NBL Westmead Biscuits.
Key Performance Areas:
Analysis of breakdowns, with recommendations to reduce downtime
Review of Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring reliability and integrity of information captured on the asset care system.
Assist with developing and maintaining a problem-solving culture within the department through facilitating and sustaining root cause analysis practices
Compile and review reports – KPI’s, asset care schedule compliance, artisan utilization, employee management control, financial forecast
Provide advice and problem-solving techniques
Assist with ensuring compliance with the OHS Act
Implement aspects of Manufacturing Capability such as 5S and fundamental Reliability Centered Maintenance
Manage select aspects of Engineering spares
Develop, implement and audit preventive maintenance techniques
Projects – drive maintenance and compliance related projects
Support in handover of projects to site to ensure assets are maintained for its lifecycle
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
+-3 to 5 years experience, post qualification
FMCG background
Preparing/eligibility to write the GCC (factories) will be advantageous
Qualifications:
BSc / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering
N Dip / B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with S1 and S2 completed.
