EBC Catering Manager Jobs in Uganda
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute menu plans that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the workforce.
Procure food and supplies efficiently while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, storage, and sanitation.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food service.
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering services effectively.
Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to enhance service quality.
Address and resolve any catering-related issues promptly.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Train and mentor staff to improve their skills and performance.
Maintain accurate records and reports related to catering operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in catering and kitchen management with a background of Head Chef.
Experience in remote site services is a significant advantage.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional culinary and menu planning abilities.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work in challenging and remote environments.
Must be of Ugandan nationality.
