Movie fans of reddit, how do you think villains hire goons in movies?

Traditionally there are a few methods.

1. Goons are at a bar or hanging out somewhere as humans do. The Villain enters and after proving dominance says they’re looking to hire.

2. A friend of a goon working for the villain reccomended them.

3. The villain runs an actual business they apply to and then afterwards they get into the crime aspect
