World Health Organization (WHO) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of MIS Data Analyst in New Delhi, India. The duration of this post is 1 year.

The primary role of WHO is to direct and coordinate international health within the United Nations system.

Key Job Responsibilities

The MIS Data Analyst will perform the following functions:

  • Assist to ensure that MIS can provide quick analysis (dashboard capability) of trends and comparisons against defined indicators at various levels
  • Assist in developing an effective, efficient, expandable and interoperable MIS that integrates and is compatible with existing systems
  • Assist in training key staff members of the skills partnership and partners on the developed system
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports
  • Assist in performing defined tasks as per instructions/processes
  • Assist in preparing and managing multiple reports, working with excel formula & various other excel.
  • Assist in creating appropriate and updated formats from time to time
  • Assist in preparing standard correspondence in conformity with programme standards, reports in MS Excel and power point presentations etc. as required
  • Assist in contributing to other ongoing activities and projects as suggested by supervisors
  • Participate in regular HHS team meetings of WHO and meetings/workshops of NVHCP as suggested by supervisors; and
  • Undertake other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor(s)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • Secondary, technical or commercial school
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with knowledge of information technology and knowledge of operations of management information systems.
  • Post-Graduation in any field with knowledge of information technology and knowledge of operations of management information systems.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in any national program
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in working on Digital platforms of Management Information System (MIS) in any national health programme would be an advantage
