Women’s International Peace Centre IT Specialist Jobs in Uganda
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director and National Coordinator, the IT Specialist will perform the following functions; management and coordination of organization Information Technology Infrastructure, systems management. development and monitoring, data management and quality assurance and IT Capacity building for staff.
Education and experience:
• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer science, Information Systems, software engineering, or related field.
• With over 5 years of experience in IT support roles, including software installations, networks, operating systems, and solving technical difficulties in cloud platforms, networks, and hardware configuration. Proficiency in working with servers, networks, computers, and peripherals.
• Extensive knowledge of system
• Advanced knowledge of hardware and software configuration. Ability to prioritize tasks and create work schedules with minimal supervision. Excellent troubleshooting, creative, and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and display initiative
• Able to work under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment
