Kenya Medical Research Institute Study Clinician/Clinical Officer – Thika Jobs
Key Responsibilities:
Collection of data
Clinical examination and provide care and treatment to Persons Living with HIV
Support counseling as needed
HIV Counseling and Testing
Participate in screening, enrolment and follow up of study participants
Participate in general research and study specific seminars, awareness drives and educational activities.
Generate and draft clinical/ study reports as may be required
Documentation of study procedures and findings
Contribute to dissemination of research findings
Supporting in training and capacity building activities for the team in the implementation of their roles and responsibilities.
Vacancy Requirements
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution
Be registered by the Clinical Officers Council
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with direct involvement in patient care especially in HIV Care and treatment
Reproductive health knowledge and skills is an added advantage.
