Responsibilities:
Develop, grow, and monitor Business’ liabilities and assets portfolios within MSME & Micro Segment with the ultimate objective of ensuring the Bank remains profitable, competitive, and promptly reacts to the changes in both the internal and external environment.
Drive profitable revenue and volume growth with a focus on new acquisition, retention of existing customers as well as deepening of existing customer relationships and cross sell thereby improving market and customer share of wallet with the Bank.
Overall management and supervision of the MSME Banking Section and alternate channels to ensure superior customer service offering to all customers, reduction of operating costs by ensuring efficient utilization of Bank’s resources and reduction of frauds and losses through adherence to policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage customer requirements, constantly review service delivery standards and optimal utilization of resources to ensure consistent delivery of high-level customer service at all touch points in a timely and cost-efficient manner which ensures high level of customer satisfaction and new product launches.
Ensure compliance to both credit and operational risk frameworks.
Ensure strong cross- selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank.
Liaison with credit to ensure that credit criteria is robust and balanced for Business growth.
Leverage on customer research and competitor benchmarking on customer service and customer loyalty/advocacy metrics including NPS scores and drive initiatives to improve them.
Ensure timely submission of quality credit proposals in conformity with the Credit Policy guidelines and requirements whilst maintaining the quality of the SME portfolio within the stipulated Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.
Requirements
Degree preferably in a Business-related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field is added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience with at least 5 years’ experience in senior management positions, including MSME experience, Credit experience and General Banking experience.
Demonstrable understanding of Business fundamentals and the financial services industry.
Knowledge of bank-wide business functions/ processes as well as banking products and services
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competence in driving performance.
Business acumen including awareness of current business trends, risks, challenges, and opportunities.
