Job Description
Ensure an efficient support service to Business partners and other role players on all credit evaluation activities in the Commercial and Personal segments (High Net Worth) for Africa Regions, (East Africa) thereby ensuring that risk is minimised whilst service levels are maintained. Assessment of all credit applications and/or Credit Committee papers and related source documents to ensure that SBSA risk is contained within acceptable risk parameters relative to the profitability of the deal and the Risk Grade of all credit risk counterparties.
Approve Credit Applications within Delegated Level of Authority. Prepare workups and recommendations to Higher Authority including relevant Credit Committees. Participates in meetings, discussions and conference calls on BCB Credit related matters (e.g. Deal Forum, ROACC, Govco, Country BAC or CRMC, MANCO, Watchlist, BCB Credit Portfolio and Watchlist Review). Visit country teams and/or client as and when deemed appropriate by the HCL or HC ROA. It is prefered that the ideal location for successfull incumbent is East Africa.
