Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer. The Junior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for day-to-day back-end and front-end web development tasks and implementing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns. The developer will also employ Test Driven Development practices.

Qualifications

Back-End Web Development, OOP, and MVC design pattern skills

Front-End Development skills in React or JQuery

Experience with MySQL or Postgres

Experience with Test Driven Development

Proficient in Ruby on Rails framework

Experience with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience with agile methodologies is a plus

Experience with cloud-based services such as AWS is a plus
