Vihiga County Economist Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation and provision of Economic Planning Data;
Carrying out Economic analysis for the county;
Formulation of development strategies that can be adopted and used by the county;
Taking charge of a small functional area within the Department;
Coordinating Departmental development plans, projects, and programs;
Reviewing development policy strategies/projects and programs;
Performing other duties related to the field as assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Application:
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution;
Demonstrate professional ability, initiative, and competence in organizing, directing, and executing work at this level;
Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya;
Be a good team player with exemplary leadership qualities, interpersonal communication, and collaborative skills;
Must satisfy the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
