Whenever I go out with my husband and we need some kind of service, if the salesperson or employee helping us is a man, he will almost always defers to my husband even when we’ve made it clear that I’m the one they need to deal with. They will shake his hand first, make eye contact with him the entire time, and ask him questions as if im a statue in the room.
The paperwork for my car has his name listed instead of mine as the primary owner because of this behavior. Please stop.
