Duties And Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:
Assist in the implementation of administrative functions of the division, department, school, Unit or section.
Taking minutes in various committees.
Supervision of staff under them.
Advice the head of department on all matters relating to the department.
Assist in the setting and implementation of the departmental PC targets.
Assist in the adherence to the Quality Management Standards (QMS) for the implementation of the performance management system of the department.
Support planning and budgeting in the division, department, school, Unit or section.
Any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements For Appointment
For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized University.
At least six (6) years’ relevant work experience with at least three (3) years as an Administration Officer II in a university or its equivalent.
Proficiency in computer applications packages.
Registered member of a recognized professional body.
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
