Summary:
The work schedule for this position is:
Full Time (40 number of hours per week)
Duties
The Project Coordinator prepares and evaluates documents, directs daily activities, monitors contractor progress and quality, and keeps official records for a variety of maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects at U.S. government properties in Zambia. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Facility Manager and interacts with subject matter experts, building occupants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to accomplish assigned tasks.

Requirements:
Experience:
Two years prior work experience in a management or technical position is required.
Job Knowledge:
The Project Coordinator must demonstrate basic knowledge of maintenance, repair, and construction techniques.
Must be familiar with common building materials and tools.
Must show understanding of contracting procedures.
Must possess rudimentary knowledge of quality assurance practices.
Must have sufficient knowledge of construction safety requirements.
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary/high school is required.
Evaluations:
Language:
English level IV (fluent) Reading/Speaking/Writing is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have well developed written and oral communication skills and be an active and objective listener.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to multitask.
Must be highly organized.
Must have five year valid driver’s license.
Qualifications:
