Yetu Sacco Society Internal Audit Assistants Jobs in Kenya
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensuring adherence to all financial accounting policies and procedures;
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines;
Undertaking a variety of audit assignments relating to pre-audit of payments, evaluation and review of internal control systems;
Reconciliation of budgetary allocations with monthly expenditures summaries;
Drafting preliminary audit reports, queries and observations for Internal Auditor’s
consideration;
Conduct periodic stock takes/audits;
Conduct investigations as may be directed by the internal auditor;
Maintaining files and supporting documentation for audits and other assignments;
Follow up on recommendations made in both internal and external audit reports;
Any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
Must have a Degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA(K) holder;
Have served in Yetu Sacco or a comparable organization for at least Two (2) years
preferably;
Team player with good leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal
skills;
Unquestionable integrity and strong ethical standards;
Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations;
Have demonstrable understanding of Audit function.
