Responsibilities
Nurture mutually respectful relationships being an inspiring role model to all
Teach Music as per iGCSE and British National curriculum in Key Stages 2,3 and 4
Plan and prepare lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range
Manage the provision of music lessons, both group and individual in a range of instruments
Coordinate activities and resources within the performing arts curriculum and events
Collaborate to incorporate performing arts into the curriculum and school events
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations
Managing the organisation of the MAD block (Music and Drama) for optimal enjoyment and effectivity for all
Take part in extra curricular activities contributing to the holistic education of all
Manage resources and ensure quality termly reports and consistent parent feedback
REQUIREMENTS:
Post Graduate Degree in Education
Teachers Service Commission Registration
4+ years in an International School System
Demonstrable track record of excellent teaching practice
Fantastic Interpersonal skills, adaptability and sense of humour
Commitment to the school Ethos of promoting inclusivity, diversity and environmental sustainability
