Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Earned PhD in Nursing from an accredited Univesity
Masters in Medical Surgical Nursing and or Masters in Nursing Education from an accredited University
At least three (3) years’ teaching experience at university level (both online and face to face) or in research/industry.
Registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya & with a valid Practice License
Evidence of active Participation in Schools/departmental activites or demonstrated leadership in University Activities
Evidence of attendance & contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops
A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least 16 points should be from refered journal papers
Christian commitment and practice
Job Responsibilities
Conducting quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the Univesity
Engaging in curriulum and program review and development
Ensuring consistent Christian behavior in line with the University’s vision
Evaluating students through continous assesments and examinations
Implementing best practice in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements
Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired University strategic goals
Mentoring of students in academic and spiritual nurture
Mobilizing resources and building bridges with industry
Teaching and training of students in line with schemes, policies, processes and procedures
