Othaya- Mukurwe-ini Water Services Non-Revenue Water Officer Jobs in Kenya
Overall Responsibility
To supervise all company operations geared towards Non-Revenue Water reduction and to be the head of the NRW unit of the company.
Objectives
Non-Revenue Water Management for reduction and sustainability
Quality service to customers
Compliance with regulatory requirements
Attainment of set performance targets
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure completion of development of the NRW reduction plan
Supervise implementation of the NRW reduction plan
Supervise, appraise and identify the training needs of staff within the NRW unit
Ensure effective use, handling, servicing, calibration and storage of equipment used by the NRW unit.
Work closely with other sections in development of sectional work plans and budgets.
Maintain records for all the unit’s operations and prepare the necessary reports and as when required
Propose any amendments and or review of the company’s NRW reduction plan for the Management’s consideration and board’s approval.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Provide team leadership, supervision, mentorship, coaching and regular appraisal of the staff assigned to you for effective and efficient service delivery.
Job Specifications
Relevant Degree in a Technical field acquired from a university recognized in Kenya
Diploma in Water Engineering/Civil Engineering or a relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution in Kenya with at least (7) years’ work experience in reputable organization(s), three (3) years of which should be in a Supervisory position.
Hands on experience in NRW reduction in a water Utility in Kenya
Computer literacy & effective written and oral communication skills
GIS knowledge will be an added advantage
