Requirements for Appointment:
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –
Certificate in any of the following fields; Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory from a recognized institution;
OR
Occupational/Proficiency Test Certificate Grade III/II/I in Civil Engineering for Geological Laboratories from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include:-
Processing and preserving test samples;
Packaging, transporting and submitting tested samples;
Receiving and recording Submitted samples;
Preparing Laboratory Reagents;
Documenting and receiving samples for analysis;
Cleaning and sterilizing laboratory glass ware, surface and equipment;
Disposing laboratory waste]
