Job Summary:

multitask. The Academy is seeking to recruit a motivated Biology Teacher.

Key responsibilities:

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes that cater for the needs and

development of the students according to age, ability and aptitude within their class.

Cooperate with the Head of Department in setting, updating and following relevant schemes of work, lesson plan and resources.

Observing, assessing and recording students’ performance, giving appropriate feedback and

maintaining records of pupils’ progress, development and prepare them for examinations.

Providing or contributing to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to

individual students or groups of students.

Deliver the curriculum through the scheduled teaching programme.

Organization or active participation in regular extra-curricular activities.

Key qualifications, skills required:

Education: Possess a Bachelor’s degree / A Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject(s).

Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ of teaching experience with exposure to the British National Curriculum in IGCSE, AS and ‘A’ Level.

Possess: a TSC registration Certificate.

Must be a committed individual who is passionate to work with students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and students.

Knowledge and understanding of current trends in teaching and learning practices.
