Job Summary:

Premier Academy is a leading British Curriculum School with a strong reputation for academic strength and all round excellence in nurturing model citizens of the world. The 21st century learning styles demand innovative, imaginative and competent persons with integrity and ability to multitask. The Academy is seeking to recruit a teaching staff in our Kindergarten section that will be responsible in fostering the intellectual and social development of children in the first phase of their elementary school experience.

Key responsibilities:

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes that cater for the needs and development of the students according to age, ability and aptitude within their class.

Observing, assessing and recording students’ performance, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils’ progress and development.

To create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning.

To plan opportunities to develop the social, emotional and cultural aspects of pupils’ learning.

To meet with parents and provide regular feedback, to contribute positively to the education of the children concerned.

To support the Head of Section in promoting the ethos of the school. To promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children though relevant policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications, Skills Required:

Education: Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (a Bachelor’s degree will be an added

advantage).

Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ of teaching experience with exposure to the British National

Curriculum.

Possess: a TSC Registration Certificate.

Proficient in ICT

Basic First Aid Training.

Exposed to online Virtual Teaching.

Must be a committed individual who is passionate to work with students, have a proactive and adaptable approach to change and be self-motivated.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and students.

Creativity and have the knowledge and understanding of current trends in teaching methods such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia.
