Our client a leading construction company, is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Officer to join the marketing team. The Social Media Officer will play a key role in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our construction projects and brand.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the company’s marketing goals and brand identity.

Create content calendars and schedules for various social media platforms.

Content Creation:

Produce high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

Showcase construction projects, milestones, and behind-the-scenes content to enhance brand visibility.

Community Engagement:

Actively engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions.

Foster positive relationships with followers, clients, and industry influencers.

Campaign Management:

Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote construction projects, events, and company initiatives.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.

Analytics and Reporting:

Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular reports on key performance indicators.

Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.

Brand Advocacy:

Build and maintain a positive online reputation for the company through strategic social media efforts.

Identify and collaborate with brand advocates and influencers to expand reach and engagement.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

Keep abreast of trends in social media, construction, and related industries.

Propose innovative ideas and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

Proven 3-4 years’ experience as a Social Media Officer or similar role, preferably in the construction or related industry.

Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok, website management etc.).

Strong creative and writing skills with an eye for design.

Familiarity with social media analytics tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
