MNC Consulting Group Site Manager Jobs in Kenya
Our client a renowned construction firm, is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The Site Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Take ownership of construction projects, overseeing all aspects from planning to completion.
Work closely with project stakeholders to understand goals, timelines, and expectations.
Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to specifications and budgetary constraints.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and other personnel.
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting teamwork and productivity.
Conduct regular meetings to communicate project objectives, updates, and expectations.
Resource Management:
Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction materials.
Monitor and control project budgets, reporting variances and proposing corrective actions as needed.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any construction issues or deviations.
Safety Compliance:
Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Investigate and document accidents or incidents, implementing corrective measures and preventative actions.
Communication:
Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors.
Provide regular project updates, including progress reports and potential issues, to senior management.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, proposing effective and innovative solutions.
Collaborate with project management to resolve complex issues and mitigate project risks.
Qualifications:
Proven 6 years’ experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
Thorough understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Relevant certifications in project management or construction management are advantageous.
