Job Summary
Reporting to Assistant Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation, the job holder is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: –
Duties and Responsibilities
Reviewing all contractors’ statements for conformity with Contract provisions and bill of quantities.
Preparing project final accounts for payment.
Verifying quantities and costs on project variation proposals.
Coordinating Measurement of quantities
Verifying Payments
Coordinating costing and valuation of projects.
Involved in preparation of project budgets.
Ensuring proper documentation for all projects.
Preparing periodic technical reports.
Preparing tender specifications and tender documentation.
Person specification
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
A Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Building Economics or Civil Engineering; or equivalent
Professional registration with Board of Registrations of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS)
Registered with Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya as Graduate Member; and
Proficiency in computer application
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
