KenGen Manager, Civil Infrastructure Jobs in Kenya
Job Summary
Reporting to General Manager, Geothermal Development, the job holder is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: –
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for development, repair and maintenance of civil structures and infrastructures
Facilitating design of civil structures and infrastructure, contract management and administration
Initiation of project activities, such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions.
Overseeing inspection of projects, feasibility studies and supervision of external consultants and contractors to ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes
Maintenance of civil works in power plant facilities.
Contract negotiation and participation during design and commissioning of new projects
Person Specifications
Minimum relevant experience of twelve (12) years with at least five (4) years in a management role
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/construction management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
Certificate in Leadership
Membership of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
Registered with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Professional Engineer
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
