Overall Objective of the Job

To Manage Finance, IT, and Supply Chain roles by ensuring compliance with requisite legislation and IFRS requirements and implementing sound financial strategies to support the company’s overall objectives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the Company’s goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, financial statements, cash flow analyses & projections, monthly/quarterly financial statements, cash flow analyses, forecasts, and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to Executive Management.
  • Oversee the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
  • Coordinate and lead the financial planning and forecasting processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow, including monitoring receivables, payables, and working capital, and implementing strategies to improve cash flow management.
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the organization’s financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax laws, GAAP/IFRS, and other relevant standards.
  • Oversee and manage financial audits, liaise with external auditors, provide the necessary documentation, and address audit findings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and other stakeholders to secure financing, manage debt, and optimize banking relationships.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the finance team, including mentoring, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness by enforcing the correct use of all applicable ERPs
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to finance and accounting.
  • Evaluate product pricing, new product introduction, and new project viability from a financial angle and advise the management in decision-making.
  • Oversee the supply chain function (Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics) ensuring compliance with all relevant processes, statutory requirements, and vendor contract adherence.
  • Oversee the processing and consolidation of all key reporting cycles: month end, budgeting, and forecasting as well as the development of Board pack and analyses
  • Analyze monthly results, leading indicators, and KPIs to support monthly forecasting and annual plan attainment

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA K or CFA certification
  • 10 years of proven experience working as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a busy Manufacturing Environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, including financial reporting standards GAAP/IFRS, and tax laws.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data, conduct financial analysis, and provide strategic insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in using financial software, ERP systems, WMS, and advanced spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge and appreciation of internal controls, finance, or risk management
