Are you passionate about maintaining and ensuring high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Checker for our clients in Mombasa. As a Quality Checker, you will play a vital role in our operations by assisting the Quality In-Charge in maintaining compliance with procedures and ensuring that our final products meet the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in testing samples provided by commercial agencies.

Collect and analyze product samples to determine quality compliance before receiving and storing them.

Work as a member of the quality control team, checking and recording parameters at critical control points and taking corrective action when necessary.

Ensure that products meet the established quality standards set by the company.

Prepare reports, compile and maintain records on product quality status, tests, and inspections conducted.

Perform testing in accordance with the company’s Quality Control System.

Ensure the correct quality processes are followed and provide training as needed.

Clean, sterilize, calibrate, and maintain equipment and apparatus used in all tests and analysis.

Ensure production requirements are met while adhering to safe work practices and procedures.

Analyze test data and take corrective action to prevent non-conforming products.

Assist in documentation and data control.

Care for and maintain testing equipment, including calibration.

Participate in plant audits.

Carry out any other duties assigned by the manager.

Work with the health and safety committee, identify risks and hazards, and implement safety recommendations.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

Must have at least a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or any other relevant field.

Must have 2 years of working experience as a QC/Lab analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, and procedures.

HSE basic courses (preferred).

Quality control and assurance experience.
