If I had gone through those doors, I would’ve witness my best friend being euthanized. Because of covid, they wouldn’t allow more than two people inside the vet. The last thing I saw of his was my father taking him inside wrapped in a pink blanket. I would’ve come to terms that he’s gone and I would have to move on.
