Start small. It’s important to keep it within your willpower while building a new habit.
I humbly suggest just working in a comfortable amount of push ups and squats a few times a day when the mode strikes. Just be sure to do at least one every single day.
You’ll likely find once you’ve done one that you feel comfortable doing more. Ramp it up as you see fit, but just keep doing some every day.
Keep track as best you can. Seeing the numbers will help keep you motivated and feeling like you’re achieving things.
It adds up. A thousand push ups and squats a month isn’t a ton but it is a whole lot more than zero, and you will feel and probably see a difference even with that. As you get stronger doing more will be easier.
