For example, my ex would constantly have something negative to say about my opinions or anything I would suggest but the moment his friends (who he met wavyy after me, and didn’t know that well), would suggest the exact same thing, his opinion on it would change entirely and then he’d give some shitty excuse. Even for small stuff. Like my ex had horrible hairfall and I suggested a particular pre-wash treatment (keeping in mind his hair type and budget etc), he refused to use it. His friend suggested the same thing and the very next day he got it.
