Love is doing illogical things for a very small reward because of morality based factors and values for the said situation. I drove my girl to work and she left her water bottle in my car. This water bottle can filtrate different flavors of water and plus it makes the water clean for her tastes.
She wants the water bottle; she doesn’t need it. She can literally buy herself a water bottle at work. But she would like for me to come back and give it to her. She had all the opportunity to grab it, but she forgot about it.
So I did a u-turn and gave it to her outright. The reason all for this is because it’s compassion, and showing mercy to the one’s that you love and care about. That’s what love is; it’s a mix of compassion, passion, mercy, honesty, and so many other virtues. What people usually define it in a scientific terms, I think they’re really talking about infatuation rather than actually showing the virtue of caring.
