How wise is it to ask your colleagues, residing near an airport, if you could park your car at their place for a week, while you are gone on vacation? What to think before asking this question to them?

Is there street parking, or would you take up a driveway/garage spot?

Honestly, if it was me, and I had room to cram another car somewhere, I would just ask for some beer(or liquor or wine, whatever they like) as payment.
