I’m not sure it has, as a working class person and someone with high empathy I’ve always been left leaning politically because I’ve always been primarily concerned with society caring for it’s people.
No political party is really an ally to LGBTQ+ people in the UK right now, but certainly Tories are against us – they’re also against us poor folk and disabled people too, so I’d always be against the Tories.
