How do you learn to write professionally?

I think writing is just something that you have to practice a lot. One thing I try to do, is even when I’m gaming and stuff I still try to do some basic grammar and spelling. So you don’t fall into bad habits. That said, I’m sure an English major could point out half a dozen grammatical errors just in this paragraph.
