How do you get over hating the sound of your recorded voice?

It’s actually very simple: you just need to listen to it many times. I’ve been recording myself for years, both singing (while playing the guitar) and talking (reciting poetry). It felt strange to listen to myself in the beginning but nowadays it feels completely normal. In fact, I enjoy listen to myself when a recording turns out really well! People usually cringe from listening to their own voice because they’re not used to it. It’s something they don’t usually hear, so it feels weird. But when you listen to your recordings regularly, it becomes totally normal and doesn’t feel weird or cringy anymore.
