How do you deal with the closest people in your life who seem to be taking advantage of your kindess and altruism?

Distance yourself, there is no way around it. And magic, they’re not the closest anymore.

Happened to me aswell, and receiving insults when coming over to help people move sealed the deal, left them on the spot and instead i moved on with my life.
